2013 Effort Pinot Noir

This 2013 Pinot Noir Effort is bottled under the companion label “EFFORT,” which are made to be more fruit driven and approachable wines. It’s aged 20 months in 20% new French oak and on the nose provides lots of raspberry, black raspberry, crushed flowers and a touch of licorice. It is medium-bodied, pure and pretty, with good acidity and a touch of oak on the finish.

Lionza Cheese

Lionza, a Swiss style cheese, is named after the tiny village high in the Swiss Alps that the Fiscalinis called home for more than 300 years. The same traditional steps are used today that were developed generations ago by Lionza ancestors. It is lightly straw colored and has a thin natural rind, a sweet milk caramel-like flavor, an enchanting aroma, and a semi-soft texture.

This bold salami gets flavor from traditional Chianti wine from Italy, crushed fennel seeds and black pepper. Finocchiona is undoubtedly one of the most loved among Tuscan pork products. Its name derives from “finnocchio”, or fennel, with the crushed seeds added for enriched taste and aroma.
